7:00PM (5:30PM - Shannon Curfman)
Opening Acts for Friday, May 14

For Sister Hazel, it's always been about the music, but over the course of their decade -plus music making career, it has expanded beyond that to incorporate so much more. They've maintained their unerring focus and desire to help, to share, to include and to grow -be it through their music or through other means - all the while stretching their musical umbrella to cover what has become a true community. "We love to do so many different things," says Block. "Between writing songs we believe in, the live shows, building a community, expanding our events, and the charity, there's this whole lifestyle that is what Sister Hazel is all about."

7:00 PM
Opening Acts for Saturday, May 15

10,000 Maniacs was founded in the fall of 1981. In 1999, the band released The Earth Pressed Flat on Bar/None. An Album that Angelfire.com called “…arguably 10,000 Maniacs' greatest achievement, the perfect post-punk Celtic folk rock album.” In December of 2000 founding member Robert Buck died at the age of 42. After a three-year hiatus the Maniacs returned in 2003 with long time friend and former guitar tech Jeff Erickson on lead guitar. In 2004, Elektra/Asylum/Rhino Records released Campfire Songs: The Popular, Obscure and Unknown Recordings, a two CD set compilation

Rita Coolidge
7:00PM
Opening Acts for Sunday, May 16

Most music fans have a favorite song recorded by two-time GRAMMY® award-winner Rita Coolidge― “Fever,” “We’re All Alone,” “One Fine Day,” “(Your Love Has Lifted Me) Higher & Higher,” “The Way You Do The Things You Do,” “All Time High,” “Superstar,” and so many other memorable tracks that topped the charts from the 1970’s onward. It is perhaps due to Coolidge’s pop and rock pedigree that many of her fans are unaware of her longstanding affection for jazz, however. Her debut release for Concord Records, And So Is Love (CCD-2271-2), a collection of well-loved jazz standards, is sure to change all that. It will also undoubtedly add a few jazz chestnuts to that lengthy list of songs Coolidge has already made her own.

Eljuri
7:00PM
Opening Acts for Tuesday, May 18

Cecilia Villar Eljuri was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador and raised in the cultural melting-pot of New York City, USA. At an early age, Eljuri was exposed to a variety of performance arts thanks to her father, the legendary radio, theatre and television pioneer Paco Villar and her mother, composer Olga Eljuri de Villar.

As a young girl, Cecilia would sit under the piano, listening to her mother’s exquisite compositions and so was inspired to begin to write her own melodies. At the age of 14 she discovered the guitar and by the time Cecilia was 17, she was no longer sneaking into NYC clubs; she was performing in her band the Trouble Dolls who consistently sold-out NYC’s iconic rock clubs CBGBs and the Bitter End.

Saturday, May 22 - WBEE Country Music Day
Steve Azar
7:00PM
Opening Acts for Saturday, May 22

For singer-songwriter Steve Azar, making music is a compulsion.

“I love playing now as much as I did the first time I ever performed,” says the man known for such top country hits as “I Don’t Have to Be Me (‘Til Monday)” and “Waitin’ on Joe.” “At the end of the day, I want to make music. I love to write. I can’t wait to record. I still just love it, love it, love it. What is wrong with me? I’m addicted!”

During the past few years, Steve has been on a creative rampage. From his outpouring of songs has come his latest CD, Slide on Over Here. The come-on title refers both to the romance in some of the tunes and to the fact that the record is full of slide-guitar licks.

Sunday, May 23
Blue Rodeo
7:00PM
Opening Acts for Sunday, May 23

The definition of a rebel is someone who goes against the grain. Damn the torpedoes! Full speed ahead! For close to thirty years now, Blue Rodeo has taken the road less traveled - and succeeded far beyond anyone’s expectations. The band emerged in the early 80’s as a countrified rock band in the era of hair metal and glossy pop. Despite sticking out like a sore thumb (or maybe because of it), their single “Try” became omni-present on radio across Canada and set in motion a three decade long career of headlining every club, theatre and arena in Canada. In 1993, when grunge rock was squeezing commercial rock off the radio, they recorded their quietest album, Five Days In July, and scored their biggest hit selling over a half million copies of that one record alone. And now, in the digital age, while everyone else is think of ways to sell single songs through the internet or snippets of songs on cell phones, Blue Rodeo has recorded a double album designed specifically to be enjoyed on vinyl. The Things We Left Behind is the real deal. Double gate-fold sleeve, 12 x 12 cover and two albums, four distinct sides programmed to take the listener on a trip.
